MACMURRAY RANCH PINOT NOIR

2001 MacMurray Ranch Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. The 2001 Mac Murray Ranch Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir was blended from grapes grown in gently rolling hillsides near the north shore of San Pablo Bay, in the southern reach of the Sonoma Coast growing region.

The 2001 harvest came at the end of a long, cool growing season. Warm days just before harvest brought sugar levels up to match the full maturity of the grapes. The result was an intensification of varietal character and a winemaker's dream of balanced acids and sugars.
