CHARDONNAY RECIPES
Honey Grilled Tiger Prawns
Ingredients
1 to 1 ½ lb. Black Tiger Shrimp (shelled,
deveined, uncooked)
4 tbsp butter
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup honey
¼ cup diced chives or green onions
2 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
20 bamboo skewers
Directions
Marinate
In a large freezer bag, combine soy sauce, chives, and
garlic. Add shrimp; marinade 2 to 6 hours.
Grill
Soak bamboo skewers in cold water, 20 minutes. Remove
shrimp from marinade and run skewers through (3 to 4 shrimp
per skewer). Grill over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes per
side.
Baste
In a small pot, over low heat, combine honey and butter,
stirring frequently until melted. With a small brush,
baste shrimp several times on each side as they grill.
Serve
Serve shrimp on skewers as an appetizer, or with diced
fresh pineapple as a side dish.
