THE NEW ZEALAND REGION New
Zealand is an island nation located in the south Pacific. From our North
American perspective it seems like New Zealand is “right next to”
Australia. And it is – just 1200 miles away! The country consists primarily of two large islands. They’re aptly named North Island and South Island. And there are also a number of smaller islands. The total land area of the country is 103,736 square miles. And the total population is about 3.3 million people. In fact, New Zealand has more sheep than people! |
